Read something meaningful. Think a little deeper. Meet women who want to do the same.
This September, we’re reading How Are You, Really? by Jenna Kutcher.
But the book isn’t really the point.
The conversations are.
So many of us are craving deeper friendship and connection, but finding it as an adult can be hard. We can be surrounded by people and still rarely get beyond schedules, kids, work, and “How have you been?”
I created this Book Circle to give you an invitation to go a little deeper.
For one month, a small group of women will read the same book, sit with thoughtful questions, share what we’re noticing, and have conversations that help us get to know ourselves and each other better.
Only 10 spots are available.
Why How Are You, Really?
Because “How are you?” is an easy question.
And “fine” is an easy answer.
How Are You, Really? invites us to look underneath that answer.
What do I actually want?
What have I been ignoring?
What feels good in my life right now?
What doesn’t?
What am I quietly carrying that I haven’t had the space to name?
This isn’t about reading another personal-development book, highlighting a few paragraphs, and putting it back on the shelf.
We’re going to talk about it.
You could read this book alone.
Of course you could.
But there’s something different about reading a question that stops you in your tracks and having women to talk about it with.
Sometimes you don’t know what you think until you hear yourself say it out loud.
Sometimes someone else’s answer makes you realize you’re not the only one.
And sometimes friendship starts because someone was willing to go first and say, “Me too.”
That’s the room I want to create.
What September will look like
This is intentionally simple.
Read at your own pace.
Each week, I’ll send you a few reflection questions inspired by what we’re reading. You can journal about them, think about them on your morning walk, or simply let them sit with you.
Connect on Sundays.
You’ll also be invited into our private Voxer group. On Sundays, I’ll drop in with a question for us to talk about together.
This isn’t another group you need to keep up with all week. Participate as much or as little as you’d like. The Sunday conversations are simply an opportunity to hear from other women, share what’s coming up for you, and start getting to know each other before we ever get on Zoom.
Then we gather.
On September 30 at 6:00 PM Eastern, we’ll meet on Zoom for our live Book Circle.
And this will not be an hour of me talking at you about the book.
I want you talking to each other.
I’ll guide us through thoughtful questions and conversation, and we’ll use breakout rooms so you have an opportunity to connect in smaller groups.
Think less virtual class.
More a really good conversation with women you actually want to know.
This circle might be for you if…
You’re craving deeper friendships and conversations.
You’ve been so busy taking care of life that you haven’t stopped to ask yourself how you’re doing.
You love personal growth, reflection, and conversations that go beyond the surface.
You want to meet other women without the pressure of networking or awkward small talk.
Or maybe you just want a reason to pick up a good book, make yourself a cup of coffee, and spend a little more time with yourself this September.
You don’t need to have profound answers.
You don’t need to finish every chapter perfectly on schedule.
And you definitely don’t need to have your life figured out.
Just come willing to read, reflect, and connect.
