Don't get to February 1st and abondon all your goals and resolutions!! Get that notebook out, and start a 5 minute morning routine where you write your goals down for the day. Better add in that gratitude practice too! 😘

I've had a handful of goal-intended life changing moments.

One- when I was in third grade and decided to go to college because that seemed like the best way to live a different life to my then 8-year old self. (Yes this is a true story!)

Two- in 2019 when I read Girl, Wash Your Face.

What is my Jar of Uncomfortable Things? 🤔

A jar with sticky notes written with every single tiny, scary step that pushed me further and further out of my comfort zone.

Notes I wrote included:

“sat through an entire zoom meeting with the camera on.”

“Sat alone at breakfast at a restaurant.”

“Launched a Personal Growth Bookclub.”

“Went live on IG.”

“Gave my first speech.”

And many, many more. Seeing that jar on my desk kept me motivated to keep pushing into the scary unknown zone of growth.

And GUESS WHAT.

I survived them all. 😏

You will too. Now, GROW. 🌱

I hope your year is starting off on the right foot friend!

In all seriousness, my New Year didn’t start off the way I planned at all. And, it’s not the first time this has happened to me.

🙅🏼‍♀️That doesn’t mean I throw in the towel and give up already.
🙅🏼‍♀️That doesn’t mean 2025 is already going to be terrible. 🙅🏼‍♀️That doesn’t mean every healthy habit I’ve implemented goes out the window.

What I’ve learned in the past is:

👉 I have to acknowledge I’m going into an unplanned hard season. It means I will need to give myself grace. It means I will still take action on my goals that yield the person I want to be at the end of 2025, but those steps may be smaller than anticipated.

And that’s ok.

Progress in a hard season, is still progress! 😘

2024!! You were amazing!!! 🤩 🥳

So much growth came from this year. 🙌 So much growth came from simply agreeing to saying YES to new opportunities and taking steps outside of my comfort zone. 💥

Not all were easy. 🙅🏼‍♀️Not every idea or plan worked out. Not every talk on IG was perfect. Not all lighting was great. Not every goal got achieved.

But.

▶️My confidence grew.
▶️My courage grew.
▶️My connections with you deepened.
▶️My dreams that I’ve been hiding in my heart have became more clear, and it’s time to leap into the unknown. 🎉👏

I’ve never been more excited for a new year, more aligned with who I want to become, and funnily, with less, but very specific goals. 🤩

January 2024 vs. December 2024. 🤩

This year, I have grown so much. I have gained clarity on the direction of Hey, Goal Sister by taking ACTION. I have pushed the limits of my comfort zone so immensely.

AND all this growth happened by deciding to just START.

I launched my Personal Growth Bookclub in January and gave my first ever SMART Goal talk. Every single YES I have given myself since then, has led me to ending the year with writing my own goal setting workbook (stay tuned for that release date!), networking opportunities, hosting my own calls within smallbusinessmoms membership, being a guest on a podcast and a workshop, and so many more things in between.

I can NOT WAIT for 2025! 🥳
