I learned this simple trick. If you keep a habit

I learned this simple trick.

If you keep a habit tracker of any sort, at the end of the month, add up how many times you worked on your habit!

🤯

Tracking numbers is a huge part of setting SMART Goals and you should do that with your habits too! Seeing that you only took your vitamins 16/30 days tells you something. You need a better habit system to get those vitamins in!!

Just a reminder friend. 🫶🏻

Growth is hard.
Keeping new habits is hard.
Self reflection is hard.
Admitting when you need to do better is hard.
Knowing you have to do better and then taking action, is hard.

Just because I post inspirational content, doesn’t mean it’s not hard for me, or that I’m not working on my hard stuff too.

I just keep picking myself up. Over and over and over again.

Why?

Because I knew in 3rd grade that I was different than my surroundings, and I wanted more. ✨

So here I am. Working through limiting beliefs that I’m still tethered to, working on boundaries, working on my hormones, running miles to feel better in all areas of my life, and just trying to be my best self so my family has the best wife and mama possible.

Keep going. I am. 😘

Don’t give up on all your progress on your goals just because it’s Holiday Season.

For me, one of the hardest things I’ve had to learn (and still learning) is not retract into old habits/behavior just because that’s what others are accustomed to.

I’m not going to lie, it’s really freakin’ hard.

Number 2 is always my biggest struggle during the holidays. 🙁

Get ahead of it, be very thankful for joyful moments, and get outside to move your body (yes even if it’s cold) so your mind can process. (That helps me.)

If you need a way to stay accountable to your goals, write it down every day, and ask a friend 🙋🏼‍♀️ to check in on you.

Time management and work/life balance are huge barriers to achieving your goals. I know, because I struggle with these too!

Two tips that I have implemented that really help me since school started back:

1️⃣ Learn to say "That's not right for me right now." Thank you Christy Wright ! 🙌

2️⃣ Assign tasks to days of the week. You don't have to make repeated decisions on what you do every single week. Assign it, stick to it!
